Asuke Preservation District

Asuke district in Toyota City is an Important Preservation District of Historic Buildings that preserves the historic streetscape of a former Nakasendo post town. Spring cherry blossoms and autumn foliage are beautiful, with old merchant buildings creating a postcard-perfect scene.

Korankei Valley

Korankei in Asuke is one of Japan's premier autumn foliage spots. In November, about 4,000 maple trees turn brilliant red, with illuminated night scenes creating a fantastical atmosphere.

Mikawa Nature

The northern part of Toyota City spreads into rich mountain and satoyama terrain perfect for hiking and river activities. Hot spring resorts along the Yahagi River make it ideal for nature and culture refreshment trips.
