Oyu Stone Circles
The Oyu Stone Circles in Kazuno, Akita, are two sets of concentric stone rings (Manza and Nonakado) from the late Jomon period (approximately 3,500โ4,000 years ago). These arrangements of large stones in circular patterns are believed to have served as sites of Jomon religious and ritual activity.
