Boso Flower Line: A Peninsula Road Colored by Spring Flowers

🥜 Chiba|May 11, 2026

Road Blooming with Spring Flowers

Boso Flower Line is a tourist road running along the coastline of southern Chiba's Minamiboso City, where canola flowers, poppies, and narcissus burst into bloom along the roadside in spring. The Boso Peninsula's mild climate makes it one of the earliest spring flower viewing spots in the Kanto region.

Yellow Carpet of Canola Flowers

January-March is canola flower season, and "Canola Flower Garden" offers a field of yellow flowers to enjoy. Canola flowers blooming in the warm Minamiboso winter make you feel like you've got an early preview of northern Japan's spring.

Southern Boso Food and Hot Springs

Southern Boso is also abundant in fresh seafood, with luxurious dishes featuring spiny lobster, abalone, and turbo shells. Hot spring resorts utilizing the mild climate are also available, and combined flower-viewing and hot spring trips are popular.
