Aquamarine Fukushima
Aquamarine Fukushima adjacent to Onahama Port in Iwaki, Fukushima, is Tohoku's largest aquarium, opened in 2000. Damaged by the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake and tsunami but reopened in July 2011, it has attracted many visitors as a symbol of recovery.

Aquamarine Fukushima is ideal for family trips. Having fresh seafood at the adjacent Iwaki La La Mew before visiting the aquarium is recommended.
