Blue Carpet of Nemophila
The "Miharashi Hill" of Hitachi Seaside Park turns completely blue every spring with 5.3 million nemophila flowers. The sight of endless blue flowers merging with the blue sky feels like a dream.
Flowers Through the Seasons
Beyond spring nemophila, the park also features summer sunflowers and autumn kochia. Kochia turns brilliant red in autumn, offering a completely different beauty.
Access and Best Time
Best viewing: mid-April to early May. Take a bus from JR Katsuta Station, about 15 minutes.
