Ushiku Daibutsu holds a Guinness World Record as one of the world's tallest bronze statues at 120m. On clear days, it can be seen from as far as Tokyo.

Interior Visit

An elevator inside the statue takes visitors to an observation deck at 85m, offering panoramic views of Ibaraki. The interior features a mystical corridor lined with lotus petals.

Surrounding the statue is a Pure Land garden with weeping cherry blossoms in spring, hydrangeas in summer, and autumn foliage creating year-round beauty.
