Cup Noodles Museum

Birthplace of Instant Ramen

In 1958, Ando Momofuku invented Chicken Ramen in a shed here in Ikeda City, Osaka, spreading a new food culture of instant ramen worldwide. Now open to the public as the "Instant Ramen Invention Museum."

Handmade Chicken Ramen Experience

The "Chicken Ramen Factory" experience of kneading flour to make Chicken Ramen by hand is popular. The actual process invented by Ando Momofuku can be experienced (advance reservation required).

Cup Noodles Exhibition

Sections displaying instant ramen history and products from countries worldwide allow learning how Japan's instant ramen culture spread globally. A section for creating custom Cup Noodles is also popular.

Ikeda City Tourism

Beyond the Nissin Foods Museum, Ikeda City has tourist spots including the Katsura Bunshi (Beichao) Memorial Museum and Satsukiyama Park. Convenient access by train 30 minutes from Osaka is also appealing.
