A Wisteria Paradise Recognized by the World
Ashikaga Flower Park was selected by CNN as one of the "10 Dream Travel Destinations in the World." The sight of 150-year-old great wisteria trees in full bloom is overwhelming, with pale purple clusters covering the overhead trellises.
Fantastical Illuminations
In autumn and winter, the large-scale "Garden of Illuminated Flowers" event transforms the park with millions of LED lights, creating a fantastical world of light. It is one of Japan's largest illumination events.
Flowers Through the Seasons
Beyond wisteria season (late April to May), the park offers roses, dahlias, poinsettias, and various other flowers throughout the year.
