Nikko Futarasan Shrine venerates the three sacred Nikko mountains (Nantaisan, Nyohosan, Tarosan) as divine bodies, with matchmaking deity Okuninushi no Mikoto as the principal god. It is one of the oldest shrines in Nikko.

Shinkyo Bridge and Grounds

The Shinkyo Bridge at the entrance to the shrine grounds is one of Nikko's iconic landscapes. The vermilion bridge spanning the Daiyagawa River is beautiful, welcoming many visitors to Nikko.
