Tokyo's Largest Botanical Garden

Jindai Botanical Garden in Chofu City, Tokyo is the city's largest botanical garden with about 4,800 species and about 100,000 plants. A popular facility visited by over one million annually, diverse plants are enjoyable through all seasons.

Rose Festival (Spring and Autumn)

The "Rose Festival" held in spring (May) and autumn (October-November) is Jindai Botanical Garden's main highlight. About 370 varieties and 5,000 rose plants bloom in competition, and the garden enveloped in rose fragrance is filled with happiness.

Combined with Jindaiji Temple

Adjacent Jindaiji Temple is Tokyo's second oldest temple, famous for Jindaiji soba noodles. Combined visits to the botanical garden and Jindaiji Temple are popular, with soba noodle eating during the walk serving as soul recharging.
