Mt. Daisen in Tottori Prefecture is the largest class ski resort in the Chugoku region, boasting stable snowfall from its mountain body exceeding 1,700 meters elevation. Multiple ski areas including "Daisen White Resort" are operated on Daisen's northern face, attracting many skiers and snowboarders from Kansai and the Chugoku region during the season.

Daisen's largest ski area "Daisen White Resort" has 16 courses including courses with a maximum slope of 28 degrees and maximum run distance of 3,200 meters. The biggest appeal is skiing with panoramic views of the Sea of Japan from slopes at 1,000-1,400 meters elevation. Night skiing equipment is also available for evening enjoyment.
Family-Friendly Ski Areas
Daisen is also popular with families with children, and gentle slopes for beginners and children are well-equipped. Ski schools are also established, allowing children experiencing skiing for the first time to enjoy safely.
