Yurihama, Production Area of Nijisseiki Pear

Yurihama Town is one of the main production areas for "Nijisseiki (20th Century) Pear," Tottori's representative branded fruit. The town name "Yurihama" is a compound place name combining "Yu" (hot spring), "Ri" (pear), and "Hama" (sandy beach for swimming), expressing this area's richness.

Hawai Beach and Sunsets

On the Sea of Japan side of Lake Togo is "Hawai Beach." True to its name resembling American Hawaii, white sandy beaches and Sea of Japan sunsets can be enjoyed. The beautiful sunset scenery selected for Japan's Top 100 Sunsets is breathtaking.
