Nyuzen Super Melon is a type of net melon with very high sugar content of 15 degrees or more, characterized by rich sweetness and aromatic fragrance. The flesh is a vivid green color with a fine texture. During harvest season (June-July), they can be purchased at farm stands and local markets.

Nyuzen Town is located on Kurobe River's alluvial fan with agriculture utilizing abundant groundwater flourishing.
