Toyama City Glass Art Museum opened in 2015 in central Toyama City, designed by architect Kengo Kuma. Located within the complex facility "TOYAMA Kirari," it features a distinctive exterior using glass, wood, and aluminum.

Toyama City has been promoting contemporary glass art since 1985, collecting excellent glass works from Japan and overseas. The permanent exhibition allows viewing works by world-class artists including Dale Chihuly, experiencing the beauty and diversity of glass art.
