From Yamanakako's north shore (near Panorama Dai), Diamond Fuji can be observed approximately twice a year around late October and mid-February. The combination of inverted Mt. Fuji reflected on Yamanakako's lake surface and the sun overlapping the summit is also called "Double Diamond Fuji," one of the world's best photography spots.
